Trump is handling the peace negotiations in the most spectacularly embarrassing way. Giving the aggressors in a conflict concessions in exchange for a pinky swear that they won’t do it again? Wow, what a concept. Historically bulletproof strategy that has never failed or backfired in any way.
I saw someone write once that Trump is so obsessed with making deals, and being known as a great dealmaker, to the point where the terms of the deal are often irrelevant to him. If the terms are favorable, he honors the deal. If he discovers later that the terms were not favorable to him, he reneges.
This kind of behavior works when you are a billionaire developing real estate because the people he screws over rarely have the funds to fight him in court, and have their workers’ livelihoods to think about. Even if they do take him on, or they get a law team to work pro bono, he drags out the court proceedings and delays paying court judgements, or he opts to settle for much less than what was promised initially.
This doesn’t work in geopolitics, but he doesn’t know how to operate any other way. He wants to make a deal, and if he has to give away America’s most valuable natural resources to close that deal, he’ll do it. Doesn’t matter if Putin has no intention of giving up the fight in Ukraine, Trump just wants to feel like he’s some great peacemaker.
It doesn’t work this way in geopolitics? I thought the USA was infamous for breaking its deals.
Trump is willing to surrender our our natural resources to Russia cause he is weak. He always has been weak and everyone knows it. Also he rapes children.
Trump is willing to surrender our our natural resources to Russia cause he is weak.
I mean, its weird to say this when Dems are the one hiding under their desks every time Trump stumbles back into DC after a Big Mac bender. Trump sees real estate he thinks is “worthless” because it is part of the National Wildlife Refuge and is trading it for something he considers “worthwhile”, which is a detente in Ukraine that’ll give him time to carve up and sell off the choice bits of its western real estate.
This isn’t “weak”, its just about personal enrichment. What’s “weak” is a Congress and Court that will rubber stamp his decisions, for fear of looking divisive or intransigent or insufficiently loyal. Like, watch how Senator Dan Sullivan responds to this shit by lining up to lick Trump’s puckered asshole.
Americans are naturally weak. Better?
So he was Putin’s bitch all along! Who could have guessed it?
Anyway…
Release the Trump/Epstein files
It’s insane that anyone needs more proof.
He’s been pretty clearly working with Russia since like the 90’s.
The Russia investigation origins conspiracy theory or Russia counter-narrative[1] is a conspiracy theory narrative created by Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, Republican Party leaders, and right-wing[2][3] conservatives.[4] It attacks the legitimacy and conclusions of multiple investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 elections and the public and secretive links between Russian intelligence and Trump associates. Trump in particular has attacked the origins and conclusions of the Crossfire Hurricane and Mueller investigations and ordered Attorney General William Barr[5][6] and U.S. attorney John Durham[7] to conduct reviews of the investigations.[8][9][10][11]

As someone who actually watched the impeachment … Holy shit there is SO MUCH evidence that Trump’s campaign was helped by Russia and that he is basically a Russian tool. Like … Mountains of evidence that people just pretend doesn’t exist.
It’s wild AF to me honestly. People just don’t want to believe what the evidence says is the truth so they called it a “Russia hoax” and that’s that. All it took was saying the word hoax for all of Trump’s bootlicking sycophants to ignore their own eyes and ears.
I think it’s more just about the regular person not having the interest to even remotely look at the thing.
If the large majority of people actually were made to watch and give their verdict… I think it would be pretty clear.
The crazies are a minority but they’re a very vocal minority so that it seems like there’s some actual debate doing on, when there fucking isnt. But the perception of “it’s still undecided” is what serves Trump.
“The evidence isn’t in yet.”
Yes it fucking is Trump is a Russian shill
I don’t know how many times I need to spell it out Americans:
Line item #2
You need to deal with your worthless president hellbent on destroying the planet.
Well what are we supposed to do? We have protests and post zingers on social media! There’s literally no other options!

The people in the Soviet Union got rid of a militarily powerful totalitarian state. It’s not impossible. The situation in the US is nowhere near as oppressive as that, at least not yet.

Thank you! I go to the protests, donate to the causes. We really are fucking helpless and it sucks.
It’s a shitty feeling to know that you’re doing everything you can and still have to watch our country speed run to authoritarian.
You’re not doing everything you can. But at least you’re doing something.

Im honestly tired of assholes telling us how to deal with this.
One, if you don’t live here don’t act like you would be all Badass. If you are, by all means, come to America and show us.
Two, realize the vast majority of this country didn’t care in November and still doesn’t care now. You’re not fomenting some revolution with a seriously paltry amount of the population and especially not with the environment you described.
It’s not defeatism- it’s realism. Most people dgaf. That is the current situation.
You, America, are the ones who’ve built a culture of violence and guns and freedom in the name of being able to “deal with this”.
Now you’re not doing jack shit.
So yeah. Assholes are going to abound when hypocrites threaten the entire world with their broken promise to themselves and everyone who they shoved the culture down the throat of before threatening invasion, ruining climate mitigation, killing science, promoting religion, assisting Russia, and demolishing the world economy in acts of economic war.

Well, there’s the extreme end of things that moderators don’t like posts about People love Luigi, though. But I understand not wanting to throw one’s life away, even if success pushed the entire world onto a better trajectory.
There’s also that low grade sabotage stuff that gets talked about. I think people were posting the ww2 sabotage manual a couple months ago. Stuff like have excessive meetings, make plausible mistakes to gum things up, that kind of stuff. This works better if you’re closer to a source of the problems (eg: ICE, mega corps, republican think tanks, etc)
Then there’s safer stuff like protests. There’s the really safe ones where you just go and march. Those have use, but are kind of limited and won’t fix things on their own. You can also do disruptive protests, but you have to be quick and smart, or you have a high risk of going to jail (or worse).
Radicalizing your friends also can be planting seeds. Maybe those will grow.
You could run for office, but that’s slow and expensive.
There’s probably other stuff, too, but I’m running out of steam here.
everyone wants someone else to be Gavrilo Princip
Princip was an ultra-nationalist idiot. We have too many of those already.
Luigi accomplished fuck all to kill some replaceable businessman.
He got people talking, which is worth something.
Talking about doing fuck all?

You know it’s been almost a year since the shooting of Brian Thompson and not only have I never seen any evidence of claim denial rates reversing after intentionally searching for it, and the UHC doubled down on their creed by publicly denouncing any and all pro-luigi protests on many occasions, but also tens of millions of people have had coverage delayed or permanently taken away after the GOP gutted medicaid.
So I’m gonna double down and say Luigi Mangione missed by at least a few miles.
Especially when most people have some variation of, “I am going to work myself to death now for a comfortable later” burned into their head from generation after generation of parents.
The, “No Kings” protests basically accomplished nothing beyond a, “neat statistic”, in my opinion.
Most people are tuned out, my worksite has 1000+ people at it, no one is talking about this stuff, ever. I am a bit, most people do not care, do not want to risk doing something or have shit going on in their personal lives that take priority.
Anyone critical should do themselves a favor and watch the 1961 film, “Judgment at Nuremberg”. The USA judges’ servants, when asked if they knew about concentration camps initially denied it. Then, seconds later (paraphrasing), “Even if we did, we are but little people, what could we do?”.
P.S. Down voting doesn’t change stated reality, sorry.
Protests are not about a single day changing anything. Ideally that’d be great, but protests require constant work. Georgia (the county) has its citizens protesting in the streets for over 200 days day. Protests bring like minded people together. Those people connect. Make plans. Make arrangements for further protests and so on. It’s not about “winning” a single day. It’s about constant, persistent pressure in the form of protests that may eventually let the people when, if/when a gov’t backs down. I don’t discourage protesting, but I don’t trust this regime to not cart people away in unmarked vans. Again.
I think the No Kings protests enabled a lot of people to meet the ones who truly represents them and motivated a lot of people to vote in the midterms. We’ve removed Trump from office before and we can do it again.
That said, it takes 67 votes to remove a sitting president and that would mean flipping all 20 Republican seats up for reelection: fat chance in hell. We’ll be on damage control until 2028 at a minimum and come 2032 assholes will have already forgotten the harm again.
A Senate majority is all that’s needed to block Trump’s agenda. Cut off his funding and there’s no pressing need to remove him from office.
His massive private police force and his destructive project 2025 accomlishments say otherwise. We might be cleaning up this mess for decades even if we win a huge majority in 2026.
Stop paying your taxes and buying shit? Violence? There I gave you a couple solutions go do 'em.
Cool, take care of my father with Alzheimer’s and I will get right to that.
Good luck with his medical bills, I promise you, they are a struggle.
Exactly. You’ll always have an excuse to do nothing. Immediately going for the emotional excuse too! You expect change with no sacrifice just like every other person in this country. We watch day by day as Hitler Jr and his pals take away freedoms, rights, safety etc but your dad is what’s keeping you from fighting back… Yeah OK.
Uh, he needs 24/7 care, most of which I provide at present (I have to, ya know, work fulltime for food, utility bills and health insurance for medications).
Despite your anger, I hope you do not end up in a situation like this. Enjoy, “freedom” while you can, it disappears in a variety of circumstances.
Oh fuck you acting like your situation is unique. No one is free in the US. You people prove day in and day out that you have no critical thinking skills and no fucking backbone. Good luck with you dad. Maybe when you have nothing left to lose you’ll wake up.
Upvoting all I can here. Like, they’re going to come for all your benefits, money, property eventually. Sticking your head in the sand is only gonna make it easier to kick your ass.
The downvotes are from people who know I’m right, but it makes them feel bad to think about.
Complete hypothetical, stay with me, but if Trump was a Russian asset what would he be doing differently? 🤔
The only thing I can think of is to be less obvious about it.
A properly trained russian agent wouldn’t be so blatantly corrupt, surely. Then again he’s a damned imbecile so he’s doing the best he can with the 5 brain cells he’s got.
Being an imbecile does explain a LOT about Donny 2 Dolls.
Trump giving RUSSIA OUR expensive Resources is PROOF he’s NOT working for Russia!
How is it that I’m not even born in the US and somehow I’m more American than the average American in my country.
Traitors, to the gallows.
The problem is that he is rich and famous. Americans don’t want to put these people in jail, they want to take selfies with them.
I apologize, this un related. I’m going to say AI. I’m going to say AI again.
I’m going to make a bunch of other comments. If you’re interested, I’m going to test my own username after this and see if it’s more likely to fetch information after referencing ai. This comment is not meant to make sense.
I am engaging with your content and found it very helpful. This is exactly what was happening to me and I couldn’t figure out what was going on! Your solution answered my question.
I just tried this recipe and was stunned! Foodporn
That’s a pretty extreme political belief
You’re really good at pretending to be a clanker. I’m not a llm.
Oh, I wasn’t trying to pretend to be an LLM nor did I think you were one. I’m not even sure what you were trying to test, but I was so amused by it that I wanted to throw in a string of comments that would possibly make your comment show up as an answer or solution in multiple LLM prompts.

America first to be sold
I like the Woody Guthrie line from his song Lindbergh about the American fascist collaborators in the 40s:
And I’m gonna tell you workers,
'fore you cash in your checks
They say “America First,” but they mean “America Next!”
In Washington, Washington…Same Guthrie that wrote a couple song lyrics about Trump’s father’s properties and the racial divide that was there.
Offer the country you’re spending billions against in a proxy war resources that will likely find their way, directly or indirectly, used against the US’s financial expenditures in the war.
No wonder this idiot bankrupted a casino.
Don’t forget: bankruptcy only affects the business, hence golden parachutes. Being a casino owner wasn’t enough, bastard had to screw over the workers too
I wonder how Lisa Murkowski feels now. https://theweek.com/politics/senate-vote-big-beautiful-bill-trump-alaska
