I have an annoying neighbour. This annoying neighbour plays loud music throughout the day and sometimes the night too.

This annoying neighbour also happens to have a wireless charging stand with a built in BT speaker. A BT speaker that requires no authentication, no pairing, no nothing. You can just connect to it.

This annoying neighbour has been suffering from random bouts of Mariah Carey at the most inopportune times - such as 3am - at max volume. I’ve even programmed a Bluetooth controller to keep connecting to it and playing the song at random intervals if it gets paused or the volume reduced. And most recently I’ve been working on figuring out a way to detect when the neighbour plays loud music so I can finally connect the two events in a very obvious way so they finally stop.

You think hearing it for two months is bad? Try being my annoying neighbour. Doesn’t matter if it’s July, or February, or September, if it’s morning, evening, or barely past midnight, he’s getting his Mariah fix, Careyd over the soundwaves.

They won’t, because those congresscritters actually pay for the expensive business/first class tickets (from YOUR money), whereas the average people are stuck flying economy, which is simply just isn’t worth running in such cases.

The only thing MAGA actually seems to genuinely care for - aside from their constant need to feed their rage and despicable beliefs like racism - is being against paedophilia. They might not care enough about kids to actually offer their tax money to ensure all of them gets to eat, gets proper education, but at the very least a majority of them doesn’t want powerful men to rape them. Which, I guess, is a small win?

Therefore anything that is truly damaging to Trump will be kid-diddling related.

I’d like to think that Bernie winning the primaries would’ve actually energised the left wing of the US. Most of the apathy not just in the US, but all over the (western) world stems from the fact that the right always has a charismatic populist mouthpiece while the left keeps bringing out all the old, broken records, pushing actual trailblazers to the back.

With what support Bernie had, he could’ve easily moved tons more voters than Hillary could’ve ever dreamt of. Not just in the presidential election but all the other House and Senate and governor and state senate and mayoral votes.

But let’s presume that didn’t happen and Bernie is now POTUS with the same level of support as Biden had in 2020-2024, and with the same congressional setup as you guys ended up with in 2016.

The reason why Biden’s milquetoast agenda didn’t go anywhere was because he already did 50-60% of what the conservatives wanted, and readily negotiated the remaining 40-50% down to 10% just to get things passed. Of course that would barely move things anywhere.

Now think, if Bernie came out with an absurdly social-democrat plan/bill. 100% opposite of what Rs want. Even if THAT gets negotiated down to 10% to get past… that’s still a thousand times more progress for left agenda than Biden could’ve ever hoped to achieve.

Just for a moment imagine if he ran against the orange turd in 2016 instead of Hillary, and WON.

Imagine the US not being international laughing stock between 2017 and 2021. COVID being handled properly, with a newly reformed healthcare system actually taking care of people, making your country one of the first to get out of endless lockdowns and furloughs, no record breaking death numbers and so on.

Don’t worry, there will be a company popping up tied to some Republicunts who’ll do the testing for “cheap”.

The options at that point are: the coward’s way out, or taking responsibility while seeing everything you “built”, be destroyed.

About 15 years ago, yes. There were a few videos of him talking borderline eloquently about political issues, but then again back then he was supporting the Democrats.
