That said. The DNC is to blame. They’ve wanted to have their cake and eat it too for too long. They pretend to be on the side of working people but only pursue republican policy. Now they’re stuck. They have to move left or just accept republican control in perpetuity. (Which I don’t think really bothers them that much. The DNC is a Corp afterall.)

The Heritage Foundation may be comprised exclusively of those creatures in our ancient past that caused the “uncanny valley” experience in humans. But they’re not idiots. Far from it.

We won’t get what we need from politicians until a betrayal such as this comes with serious risk of being luigi’d.

They were too far right. They pursued the “moderate republican” vote and lost spectacularly.

It is a politically suicidal idea. But they just can’t stop themselves. Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory is what they do best.
