Not that I don’t disagree with you but there is a political tactic that I believe was started with FDR or Kennedy…I can’t remember exactly.

Basically, you are correct that Congress makes the law saying how the money is to be spent. However the executive branch decides when to release those funds. The president decided to wait until the last possible moment to release those funds, basically forcing departments to spend the money as quickly as possible before the end of the Fiscal Year since the funds are use it or lose it. So essentially the money is allocated and then clawed back.

The problem is that Trump and DOGE are doing this to raise money for tax breaks for the rich and for political grandstanding. And to accomplish Project 2025.

I’m sure Trump will learn his lesson.

The conservative Christians I still talk to (that number is getting lower and lower each year) believe Trump is the third coming of Christ and that he cannot do any wrong.

You tell people that they’ll act as an escrow for eBay. With no other options people use it. They tell people that they are “like a bank” but tell regulators they aren’t a bank. They have policies that say that they can take your money for any reason or no reason. Work with eBay so that they HAVE to use PayPal in order to complete the sale.
