If you haven’t joined a union, do so. If you have joined a union, start agitating for a general strike and don’t let the legality of a strike stop you. People can’t force you to work. Air Canada recently told the government to get bent and “illegally” stayed on strike for 3 days until securing almost everything they asked for. You’re not slaves.

When you have two major political parties and both are politically Right Wing, Manufactured Consent starts to feel normal to people.

I kind of agree but it’s also in their nature for obedience to authority to appeal to Right Wingers. Maybe they won’t have the same cult like devotion but I doubt they’ll simply “jump ship”

I’ve known people like that in real life. They’ll come up with excuses all day why they changed sides that isn’t “I’m contrarian”

Most popular Presidential Candidate for two elections in a row and didn’t appear on the ballot in either of them. I’ve had conservative coworkers who’ve told me that they maybe didn’t agree with Bernie but he’s one of the few politicians they TRUST. That’s rare and a squandered opportunity.

This is most certainly NOT a distraction. It’s the main thing to be worried about. Yes, lets call Republicans pedo protectors and keep pushing for the files but it’s ultimately less important than Trumps outright attempts at Treason.

Or better yet, actually held a primary.

I mean, I’ve been calling it since around 2012.

The main reason Biden was a democrat is because where he lived he had to be a democrat to get elected. He’s even farther to the right than the DNC.

It’s always been possible but now it’s getting increasingly untenable.

When the US constitution was written, it was assumed they didn’t have to spell out exactly how the judiciary would work because the Anglo-Saxon legal tradition was over a millennia old without getting written down (predating statute law) but apparently that assumption was wrong.
