From Reddit to the New York Times and TMZ, there’s an ongoing effort to squash the wave of popular anger at for-profit healthcare that Luigi Mangione represents.

I think the most enthused luigi supporter would happily trade the United CEO’s slaying for HEALTHCARE THAT ACTUALLY CARED FOR PEOPLE’S HEALTH.

It’s not like there’s a crowd outside screaming for blood, just fucking blood.

No, they want the healthcare they paid for - for decades in most cases - healthcare they invested in - to actually CARE FOR THEIR HEALTH.

So no, we don’t want this, but it’s the outcome we’re fucking left with.

Acting like it’s the public’s bloodlust to hurt poor innocent ceo’s is ridiculous.

Yeah that’s a cool fantasy but realistically this system will never provide for basic human needs. Health care is a glaring example but it’s the same with housing, food, clean air, drinkable water, etc.

It’s not that the public has a bloodlust to kill poor innocent CEOs. It’s that the public has a right to defend itself from these deadly leeches.

cute nihilism but it’s been proven to work time and time again in other countries.

          the US simply needs motivation.
