Turns out, when you give the felon the keys to the prison, they open it and let their friends out.
His misuse of the pardon is solely responsible for why I’m fine with open season on Tesla (and really any MAGAt enterprises for that matter). Unequal justice is no justice at all, and at this point our legal system is nothing more than an unenforceable joke.
If this country ever gets past this (big if), we are going to need a bevy of new laws, if not an entirely new Constitution.
Regarding this topic, either no pardons, or a much stricter review process that does not allow open abuse like this.
an entirely new Constitution.
Yes this is completely necessary, but good luck with that. There are literally armies of goons who’ve sworn allegiance to that old slavermaster pact.
Ya know, I agree with the part about it being necessary and needing luck…
But then I realized that you’re the person who posts links to “Civil Religion” in every goddamn thread.
Give it a rest.

I feel quite confident in saying that we have no justice in this country.
A convicted felon/rapist in the White House suggests that ship has sailed.
Good thing he declared that pardons can be reversed, I’m sure the Republicans won’t complain if Democrat sends the J6 people back to jail!
