A forest floor shouldn’t be heavily compacted, that would also lead to the leaves breaking down instead of just laying there.

Looking at the photo on top of this thread, which shows his hand, it seems like he has the tatoos, but not the letters MS 13.

So that picture was most likely of his hands, and then someone added the MS13 to it.
